ISO 9001 certifies that a site runs a documented quality management system: defined processes, checked outputs, and problems traced back and fixed rather than shrugged off. In practice, it’s why the five-hundredth pallet off our line matches the first one you approved.
WHAT IT REQUIRES OF US
ISO 9001 certification isn’t self-declared. It’s issued by an independent accredited certification body, and keeping it means ongoing surveillance audits and periodic recertification of the whole system. A site either passes independent scrutiny on a continuing basis or it loses the certificate.
ISPM 15
WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU
ISPM 15 is the international standard that stops timber packaging carrying pests across borders. Every export pallet, crate and case we make is treated to the standard, heat treatment at a minimum of 56 degrees for at least 30 minutes rather than chemical fumigation, and individually stamped. That stamp is what stands between your shipment and a quarantine hold at the destination port.
WHAT IT REQUIRES OF US
In Australia, ISPM 15 operates under the Australian Wood Packaging Certification Scheme (AWPCS), overseen by the Department of Agriculture. Only certified facilities may apply the internationally recognised mark, the mark is registered to the certified site, and compliance with the treatment standard is what keeps a facility in the scheme. The stamp’s whole value rests on that chain of integrity, which is why unstamped or falsely stamped timber is treated as seriously as it is.
HACCP International
WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU
HACCP International certification means our pallets are certified safe to enter food, beverage and pharmaceutical supply chains. Through the CMTP owned Pal-giene™manufacturing process, CMTP is the only HACCP International certified pallet supplier in Australia. When your auditor asks about the pallets, this is the answer.
WHAT IT REQUIRES OF US
HACCP International is an independent certification body that certifies products and processes for use in food-safe environments. Certification follows assessment of the manufacturing process against food safety requirements, and holding it means remaining subject to the body’s ongoing certification requirements. It’s their name on the certificate, so they guard how it’s earned and kept.
PEFC
WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU
PEFC chain of custody certification means the timber in your packaging is tracked from a sustainably managed forest through every step to the finished pallet or crate. If your business reports on sustainable procurement, or your customers ask where the timber came from, PEFC certified packaging from our Colac site gives you a verified answer rather than a hopeful one.
WHAT IT REQUIRES OF US
The PEFC label can’t just be printed. Only chain of custody certified organisations holding a valid PEFC trademark usage licence may use it, the logo is a registered trademark that can’t be folded into other marks or names, and PEFC prohibits any use of the label alongside misleading claims about a product or its certification. The label’s value is the policing behind it, which suits us fine, because that’s the only kind of label worth putting on timber.
